15-Year Anniversary
CLIENT: HCM STRATEGISTSWe partnered with HCM Strategists on their 15-year celebration, which included a microsite, strategic comms support, and this animation.
It was our fastest animation turnaround, with the final scripting, animating, and voiceover work done in a week!
01 Script
We worked with HCM’s Director of Communications to revisit the first 15 years of the impact their work has had and find the most compelling way to tell their story while introducing what is it come in their next chapter.
02 Storyboard
Upon finalizing the script, our Creative Director, Dea, promptly initiated the design of the storyboard—an essential precursor offering a glimpse into the forthcoming animation. With iterations and feedback incorporated, the storyboard was perfected within one week, aligning each section of the script with its corresponding imagery for seamless visualization.
03 Art Direction
We had previously completed HCM’s rebrand and developed a new website for them. We used their new brand combined with favorite approaches from other animations to expand their visual identity.
04 Voiceover
Due to the tight turnaround for this project, Jennie jumped in as the narrator for this project and completed the voiceover work.
05 Animating process
In line with HCM’s visual identity, the idea was to keep the graphics as simple as possible and convey the message through the movement of abstract geometric shapes.
06 Final animation
To emphasize specific movements and crucial moments, we applied some subtle sound effects. And we have chosen a suitable musical background, to create a positive atmosphere that suits the celebration of 15-year anniversary.
